ERP Implementation Cost in Saudi Arabia: What Moves the Price and How to Get a Real Quote.
The cost drivers, what a competitor publishes, our own ranges and the questions that make quotes comparable.
The honest answer to "how much does an ERP cost in Saudi Arabia" is a range, and the range is set by scope, not by the brand of software. This guide shows what moves the price, what one Saudi Odoo partner publishes on its own pages, our own published ranges, and how to get a quote you can compare.
The Short Answer
Short answer: iWesabe, an Odoo partner, states on its services page that Odoo pricing starts from SAR 25,000 for small business packages and scales to SAR 500,000+, and its pricing page lists SAR 10,000 to 35,000 for micro setups (1 to 2 modules), SAR 35,000 to 80,000 for SMEs, SAR 80,000 to 250,000 for mid-market and SAR 250,000+ for enterprise (services page, pricing page). Devvista prices either as a fixed price from $500 to $100,000 depending on complexity, or hourly from $10 to $100 depending on the type and level of developer. The two figures use different currencies and scopes, so they are not like for like and we do not convert them.
| Source | Stated range | Note |
|---|---|---|
| iWesabe (competitor, its services and pricing pages) | Services page: SAR 25,000 for small business packages up to SAR 500,000+. Pricing page: SAR 10,000 to 35,000 micro (1 to 2 modules), 35,000 to 80,000 SME, 80,000 to 250,000 mid-market, 250,000+ enterprise | Theirs, read 7 November 2026; scope and inclusions not compared |
| Devvista (house ranges) | $500 to $100,000 fixed, or $10 to $100 per hour | In US dollars; quoted per project after scoping |
What Moves the Price
Five things explain most of the difference between a small and a large quote:
| Cost driver | Why it matters | How to keep it down |
|---|---|---|
| Number of apps | Each app adds configuration, testing and training | Start with sales, stock and accounts; add the rest in release two |
| Companies, branches, journals | Each Odoo sales journal is onboarded to ZATCA separately | Count them before you ask for a quote |
| Data volume and quality | Odoo says all onboarding fields must be completed accurately to avoid rejection; wrong VAT numbers and addresses can cause rejected invoices | Clean in a sheet first; import only open items |
| Custom work and connections | Anything that is not standard Odoo is built and tested | Use standard features unless a process truly differs |
| Users and training | More departments means more sessions | Train a small group first and let them teach the rest |
The ZATCA row is from Odoo's Saudi documentation: each sales journal is onboarded separately with an OTP that expires after 60 minutes (Odoo Saudi documentation). See how this fits the plan in our Odoo ERP implementation page.
A Worked Example, Labelled as an Estimate
To show how an hourly range turns into a budget, here is arithmetic with inputs you can change. Assumption: a scope that takes 250 hours of developer and consultant time. Rate used: $40 per hour, one illustrative point inside our $10 to $100 range. Result: 250 x $40 = $10,000. This is an estimate, not a quote: your hours depend on your scope, and a quote is written after we hear your process.
The same scope priced as a fixed price would sit inside our $500 to $100,000 band, and we would state the fixed figure in the written estimate. Neither number includes your own team's time for workshops, data cleaning and testing, so plan for it.
Questions That Make Quotes Comparable
Quotes from different vendors are only comparable if they answer the same questions. Ask each one for:
- The list of apps and entities in scope, named.
- Whether ZATCA e-invoicing, the number of journals and a simulation run are included.
- Whether Arabic invoices and bilingual templates are included and tested.
- How data migration is handled and who cleans the data.
- What training is included, for how many users.
- Who owns custom code, and what support looks like after go-live.
- What is excluded, in writing.
A quote that cannot answer these is a price for an unknown scope. Our Wave 25 guide lists four similar questions to ask an invoicing vendor.
How to Get a Quote From Us
We quote by need, not from a price list. Our usual process is short: a scoping call where you describe how an order becomes cash, a written scope and estimate, then a staging site and weekly demos once you agree. Our contact page has a form and the phone number. If you need developers on your own team instead of a project, see hire developers. For the accounting side alone, see accounting and e-invoicing software. The Odoo detail is in the Odoo ZATCA guide, and a global overview is on our Odoo implementation page (English).
If our estimate is higher than the figure that tempted you elsewhere, ask us to compare scopes. If a cheaper tool does the job, we will say so.
